Putting It Together

Napa Concert Theater and NVC Music present a Sondheim revue for five singers. 

Putting It Together gathers songs from across Stephen Sondheim’s career for five singers: Man 1, Man 2, Man 3, Woman 1, and Woman 2. It is a show built around the music, performed over one weekend. We are casting all five roles at a single audition. 

Rehearsals begin January 10, 2027. Performances are January 15–17, 2027. Music direction is by Dr. Christina Howell.

Audition Details

Prepare one minute of a musical theater song that shows range and personality; an accompanist will be provided.

When: Sunday, November 15, 2026, 6:00 PM

There are no callbacks. Singers are cast directly from the November 15 audition.

Who should audition? 

Everyone. NVC students, community members, and first-time auditioners are all genuinely welcome. Auditions can feel intimidating, but ours are built to be low-pressure. Come as you are, fully prepared or still figuring it out. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be part of a show at the PAC, this is the invitation.

One audition, three productions

The same evening also opens the door to two spring productions: Pride and Prejudice in March, directed by Olivia Cowell, and She Loves Me in April, directed by Dr. Tia Madison with music direction by Dr. Christina Howell. Come for one, or try for all three.
