Our mainstage musicals typically run for 2 hours and 30 minutes, with a 10-15 minute intermission. Please consult the invitation email for each production as any change to the length of show will be shared directly. Any updates to runtime as your specific performance date gets closer will be shared via email.

We do offer accommodations for groups needing a space to have lunch; please contact us for more details.

It is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before the show so chaperones can have ample time to park and students to use the restrooms before entering the theater.

Please try to arrive on time as we do not want your group to miss a moment! We understand life happens, do send us an email letting us know and we will work to have your group seated when there is an appropriate break in the performance.

Lot A is directly across the Performing Arts Center. Handicap accessible parking is free, and so is bus parking. Personal vehicles will need to purchase a daily parking pass by texting NVCMAIN to 25023, scanning the QR code outside of the lobby, or by visiting www.napavalley.edu/parking.

Take care not to park in loading, staff, or red zones.

While water may be allowed into the theater, please enjoy any other food & drink in the lobby before taking your seat. This includes gum and small wrapped snacks.

Large bags, backpacks, and lunchboxes are not allowed inside the theater; we ask that all unnecessary items be left at school, in the chaperone’s car, or on the bus.

If items cannot be left at school or on the bus, we will allow students to place items in the lobby of the theater at their own risk. Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

REMINDER: No food or drink is allowed in the theater. Water bottles with lids are acceptable.

Phones and electronic devices must be turned off prior to the performance, and texting is generally not allowed during the show as the light may cause a disturbance for our other guests. We will share a reminder during the pre-show announcement.

Photo Notice: Our Marketing Team may be capturing photos during the performance for future promotional use. If any individuals in your group cannot be photographed, please contact us.

Photos are allowed before or after the show and during intermission. We do not allow photo, video, or audio capture when the cast is onstage due to licensing agreements. If you snap some photos, we’d love to see – tag us @NVCPerforms or #NVCPerformingArts when you share online!

Reservations must be made via the Reservation Form included in your invitation email. Any request made through means other than the Reservation forms may not be honored.

School groups are invoiced once group size is confirmed. Currently, our campus can only accept checks made out to Napa Valley College, with ATTN: Performing Arts on the envelope.

Physical tickets will not be issued. Groups will check in with the Performing Arts representative in the lobby to be directed to their reserved seating areas.

All requests to change group reservations must be made in writing and no later than one month prior to your scheduled performance. Changes are subject to the approval of theater staff and will not be accepted after final payment.

Should a performance include specific age recommendations, this will be shared on the invitation email. If any content arises during the rehearsal process that requires an additional advisory, we will notify your group leader to decide whether to attend as planned.

Found an item that’s not yours? Please drop it off with the theater staff.

If you lost something at one of our performances, there’s a chance it was found and stored at our Box Office. If it has been a few days, the item may have been logged with Campus PD. Please call (707) 256-7777 to provide a description of what was lost so that our Campus PD can assist you.

Please contact us if there are any questions.

We recommend going over theater etiquette with students prior to your arrival. A good audience is integral to the performance – laughter, tears, applause are all wonderful and appropriate responses to a performance, and we want your students to be spontaneous but inappropriate behavior can affect the whole audience and the performers on stage. Please keep distracting behavior such as using your phone and conversations to a minimum.

Should students need to use the restroom, kindly remind them to remain respectful and quiet when leaving their seat. Keep in mind that once the show starts, the rows & aisles will be dark and there may be staff or actors using the aisles; as such, we discourage running in the theater. You may be instructed by theater staff to wait to re-enter the theater once it is appropriate to minimize disruption for other guests.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.
