Auditions: Frozen the Musical

Auditions: Frozen the Musical

Monday, September 21, 20265 PM
Main Theater, Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center

Napa Valley College Performing Arts and Cafeteria Kids Theater invite the community to audition for our co-production of Frozen, the Musical, opening December 4, 2026. This joyful adaptation of the beloved film brings Arendelle's icy magic to the stage with a score full of heart, humor, and sisterly love.

Who Can Audition: All community members and NVC students are welcome. Youth auditions with Cafeteria Kids Theater have already taken place. We're looking for singers, actors, and dancers to fill out the world of Arendelle. Please note: this call is for college/community performers only (15+).

What to Prepare: What to Prepare: Please prepare one minute of a song in the style of the show. Frozen features a soaring, emotionally driven pop-legit score built around powerful character ballads, so think big-voiced and heartfelt, similar to songs from recent Disney animated films. Accompaniment will be provided.

Audition Process: Arrive at 5:00 PM to sign up for an audition slot on a first-come, first-served basis. Auditions will include your prepared song and cold reading from the script.

Video Auditions Are Accepted:

Video auditions are welcome for those who cannot attend in person. Please submit a video containing all of the elements listed above by 7 PM Monday, September 21, 2026. Send the link to either email address below. Videos should be uploaded to YouTube as an unlisted video (not public or private) so the link plays without requiring an account or special access. Note that video auditions are accepted for the initial round only: all auditioners, whether seen in person or by video, must be present for callbacks in order to be considered for casting.

Callbacks: Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 5:00 PM for selected auditioners.

Rehearsal Commitment: Rehearsals begin October 1 and run Monday through Thursday, 4:30–7:30 PM, with extended hours during tech week. Performances run December 4–13, 2026.
