Napa Valley College (NVC) is proud to present the second annual ¡Viva Mariachi! festival on Saturday, April 9, 2022 in the NVC Performing Arts Center. The festival will feature two concerts, an afternoon matinee and an evening performance, both featuring the same three award-winning Mariachi ensembles. Tickets go on sale February 22 and are only $10! With the tremendous success of our inaugural festival in 2019, we are delighted to return with the second annual festival concert,  promoting the rich heritage and traditions of Mexico through Mariachi music. DNapa Valley College Performing Arts is excited to announce a collaboration between the Department of Music and Festival Napa Valley to present a Spring 2022 musical theater revue starring acclaimed Broadway performer Ryan Silverman and Napa Valley College students. Silverman and Napa Valley College students will perform together works from both movie musicals and musical movies, delighting audiences with favorites from the stage and screen. Read more
Directors Olivia Cowell and Jennifer King are teaming up to direct one of Shakespeare's move beloved plays. King re-imagined Romeo and Juliet on Zoom in 2020 and is eager to collaborate with Cowell to create an exciting, fun and meaningful in-person production in the Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center Main Theater.
