Mozart’s final work—unfinished at his death in 1791—remains one of the most hauntingly beautiful pieces ever written. The Requiem moves between thunderous judgment and aching tenderness, from the blazing terror of the “Dies Irae” to the heartbreaking lyricism of the “Lacrimosa.” NVC Chorale joins forces with the St. Helena High School Chamber Choir, full orchestra, and soloists to bring this towering masterwork to life. Written as Mozart’s own life drew to a close, it is music that has held audiences spellbound for more than two centuries.
