ABOUT
¡Viva Mariachi! at Napa Valley College offers a unique opportunity for our community to learn about the thriving programs throughout the U.S. that are effective in promoting student success, all while enriching the cultural vitality and musical traditions of their institutions and surrounding communities.
This cultural event promotes the rich heritage and traditions of Mexico through Mariachi music and music education. The Viva Mariachi Festival is once again hosting youth/student groups representing three levels of our nation’s public institutions: middle school, high school, and college.
Featuring: Mariachi Las Aguilitas de Davis Bilingual Elementary School in Tucson, Arizona, LBC Mariachi Cantares de Mi Tierra and Ballet Folklórico, Mariachi Garibaldi, from Southwestern College in Chula Vista, California
Dates: Saturday, March 21, 2026 - Tickets on sale Tuesday, January 6, 2026 - $30
Times:
- Matinee concert at 2 p.m.
- Evening concert 7 p.m.
Both performances will take place in the NVC Performing Arts Center Main Theater.

The play delves into themes of love, knowledge, and identity, presenting a kaleidoscope of contemporary human experiences. It captures fleeting yet profound moments, from intimate conversations to virtual interactions, highlighting how individuals navigate the overwhelming flow of information in their lives. Churchill's sharp dialogue and minimalist style create a sense of urgency, prompting audiences to reflect on how they process information and form connections in an increasingly digital world.

Important: Be sure to save your license plate number, as it will serve as your permit. Purchase of an electronic parking permit is required to avoid parking enforcement citation. School and charter buses are exempt.
